  • School Safety Tip Line - (360) 709-7998

    Students and other members of the public can anonymously report or share information of a threat or potential threat to student safety. Callers will be able to leave a voice message at (360) 709-7998. Messages are monitored by the administrative office during regular business hours. Please note this is not an emergency response line. If you are reporting an emergency situation, please call 911. When leaving your tip, please leave as much detail as possible so that your concern can be thoroughly investigated. All tips will be considered seriously. An online platform for tips will be added to our webpage soon.

  • Relay For Life

    ASB President Clare Kondrat has made it her mission this year to change people's lives by starting the first Tumwater Middle School Relay for Life team. This fundraiser is a community-based event, which supports the American Cancer Society’s mission. Funds raised support cancer patient programs and groundbreaking research that can help save lives. This event also celebrates over 15.5 million cancer survivors nationwide.​ We will be participating in the Tacoma walk, located at Mount Tahoma High School, May 18-19. If you are interested in donating or joining our team click the link above. For more information contact Ms. Tripp at rylee.tripp@tumwater.k12.wa.us.   • 'Wild Grief' Summer Program for Grieving Teens

    The Wild Grief Program is for teens who are grieving the death of a loved one. This summer they are planning 4 day backpack trips in August at no cost to participants. These trips are designed to be supportive times for teens and will facilitate peer to peer connections. Please click on the heading to see the flyer and application forms for these events.

  • New TMS Afterschool Programs beginning Feb. 13th.

    Starting on February 13, 2018, Tumwater Middle School will be offering three new after-school programs, and we will be providing an activity bus to those students and families that need transportation after the programs end. Click this headline for more information!

  • YMCA After-School Program Registration

    The YMCA and TMS will be launching the new YMCA After-school, that will start after the winter break. Right after-school, every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30-4:30 the YMCA will offer snacks, homework help, sports, and other fun club activities. Registration for this program is underway: you can sign-up online at: www.southsoundymca.org, paper sign-up forms can be found at the main office, or you can visit any YMCA Branch Locations.

    As of August 31, 2018, TSD Families will have the ability to report their military affiliation in Skyward! As a state reporting requirement, we report this information annually and this is a new way to gather this important information. When you sign in to Skyward, you will see an alert that says "Military Family Verification is now open until 6/15/2018." Please click on the link that says, "Go to Military Family Verification", and select the appropriate option including no affiliation or prefer not to answer. Thank you for signing in and taking a moment to update your information. If you have any questions, please call our main TMS office at 360-709-7500.

  • Registration Packet for 2017 - 2018

    The TMS Registration Packet for the 2017 - 2018 school year is available in the Quick Links Column. Please print out all copies and return your completed forms to Tumwater Middle School before June 23rd. Completed packets can also be dropped off at the Tumwater District Office during the summer and to Tumwater Middle School again after August 14th. Have a great summer!
