Microsoft Office for Students and Teachers

Each year Tumwater School District purchases Microsoft Licenses to support the district computers and servers.  As part of that agreement, MS Office provides a free license for MS Office for students and staff to use on a home computer.

To obtain the software, use your district email to confirm with Microsoft that you are a valid user.  To start the process, it will create an Office 365 account with the ability to download the Office software to your PC.

Students:

Use the following link to start the process.

Staff:

Sign in at https://www.office.com/ with your Tumwater email account.

Once signed in, you will be at a screen that looks like this:

In the upper right-hand corner click the drop-down menu that says "Install apps". It will begin with the download. For Windows devices, it will have a window with instructions for installation. For Macs, simply drag the completed download into your Application folder. it will automatically populate in your Launcher.

 

Emails you may have received where you purchase Office is a different program.  We encourage you to take advantage of the free license.
