Program
In our elementary grades (K - 5), students have access to the visual arts within their classrooms. Band and orchestra programs are offered to students in grades five and six. Schools may also bring in outside groups to provide experiences with dramatic arts or dance. Our secondary schools (grades 6 - 12) offer a variety of courses in visual arts, music (band, orchestra, and choir), and theatre.
Standards
We use the state standards in the Arts and have identified Power Standards as a focus. Many students also complete a classroom-based performance assessment at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
