Local Requirements

Tumwater School District has a board policy and procedures on graduation requirements. In short, students are responsible for completing the following:

State Requirements

  • High School and Beyond Plan
  • Credit & Subject Area Requirements
  • Graduation Pathway

 
In addition to state graduation requirements, Tumwater School District has also established local requirements that are required of students graduating from Tumwater School District. 


Local Requirement


The final piece of your graduation requirements with Tumwater School District concludes with a Senior Culminating Project, to be completed at the end of the student’s senior year. The Senior Culminating Project has multiple components, including:

  • Senior Culminating Project, including:
    • 30 hours of community outreach.
    • Submission of up to date resume.
    • Exit Interview before a panel consisting of a teacher, community member, and student advocate.
