Graduation Requirements
The Washington State High School diploma provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue their dreams and demonstrate that no matter what path they pursue after high school, they are ready for work, continued education, and other opportunities. The diploma consists of the following three requirements:
High School and Beyond Plan
The High School and Beyond Plan which students start in middle school establishes a blueprint that builds toward the Washington State High School Diploma and their long-term goals.
Credit & Subject Area Requirements
At every stage of their education, students are exposed to academically rigorous and personally relevant classes that will help prepare them for life after high school.
Graduation Pathway
Students have the opportunity to show career and college readiness through 9 graduation pathways.
Local Requirement
Tumwater School District has developed an additional Senior Culminating Project as a part of our local graduation requirements.
