The Tumwater School District Transportation Department is accepting Bus Transportation Requests for the 2023-2024 school year. If you  have already filled out the form for the 2023-24 school year, no action is needed. In order to ensure your student a seat on the bus for the start of the school year, the deadline to receive all transportation requests is August, 11, 2023. If your student will not ride the school bus, no action is needed on your part.

Transportation Request forms are required for the following:

• New students
• Students with a change of address from last year
• Students with an alternate stop (i.e. Daycare, Grandparent’s home, etc.)
• Students needing transportation to/from more than one household
• Students moving up from elementary school to middle school
• Students who were not assigned to a bus at the end of the 2022-2023 school year

If we do not receive your request form by the August 11, 2023 deadline, it may take up to five days after the first day of school to assign or create a bus stop for your student.

In order to provide your child with transportation, it is necessary to have accurate information. Please make sure your address and phone number are correct in Skyward. Please contact your school if you need to update your information.

Special Education students do not need to fill out a Transportation Request Form.
