Tumwater School District Interpretation and Translation Support
The Tumwater School District strives to communicate effectively with families of multilingual learners in a language they can understand. As the parent/guardian of a TSD student, you have the right to participate in your student’s education, including communicating with teachers and staff. The District uses the following services/tools to meet the language needs of our community.
TSD Translated Forms
For students to be enrolled, all forms (linked below) must be completed and turned in to the school you are registering in.
In Person Oral Interpretation
In-person interpreters are available in multiple languages, and are subject to scheduling and availability. Contact your school office and ask for them to use Language Link. You can also contact Laurie Wiedenmeyer at laurie.wiedenmeyer@tumwater.k12.wa.us or 360-709-7003 with questions or concerns, or to obtain information or assistance regarding interpretation services.
If no interpreter can be present, District staff can utilize live phone interpretation services, CTS Language Link, to communicate with parents/guardians.

The translate button on the lower right-hand-side will instantly change the translation of our website to the chosen language. If your desired language is not available, please contact laurie.wiedenmeyer@tumwater.k12.wa.us to request your language be added as a translation option.
