• Knowledge Bowl is a competition where teams of four students answer questions based on core high school subjects (English, Science, Social Studies, Math), current events, and random trivia. Tumwater High School Knowledge Bowl competes locally against teams from Olympia, Tumwater, Lacey, Centralia, Chehalis, Shelton, and Aberdeen.
Knowledge Bowl meets during Club Time on Fridays from 9:35-10:00 in room P-4 (Mr. Peltier's room), and tournaments are on the 2nd Saturdays of November, December, and January. There is a regional tournament in February where the top team from each school competes to see who will represent our area at the state competition in Marysville.
Any student interested in being a part of Knowledge Bowl, no matter what grade level, is welcome to come and practice. Anyone who shows up to practice is eligible for competing in tournaments. If you go to a tournament to compete, the coach brings doughnuts!!
