I received my B.A. degree in June, 2000 from the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. In June, 2004, I completed my teacher's training at Pacific Lutheran University and received my teaching certificate with endorsements in Elementary Education, Special Education, Visual Arts and English/Language Arts. In December, 2010, I passed a lengthy and rigorous series of assessments to become a National Board Certified Teacher.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, reading, crafting, running with the Rally NW marathon training team to raise funds for children's cancer research, kayaking, hiking, and listening to all kinds of music.
