Mrs. Reed has been teaching primary students since 1994. She has local roots, having attended Griffin School and Capital High School. She then attended Western Washington University, graduating with a focus on early childhood development and elementary education. She has been teaching for Tumwater School District for 19 years. A few highlights of her career include piloting the first all day kindergarten class in Tumwater and attending the National Principals Leadership Institute in New York City with a team from EOE.
On the personal side, Mrs. Reed enjoys living within the Tumwater School District and has shared many years at EOE with her own two sons. She feels a special connection with families being a parent in Tumwater as well as being a proud employee.
