    A bit about me:

I teach part-time, third through fifth periods.  Outside of class, I am available during PACK time, 1st, 2nd, or 6th periods, or after school.  You can also arrange to meet during lunch for help as well.  :)  I'm flexible!

I believe that ALL students have the ability to succeed, whether they think they do or not.  That is my first priority!

If you ever have any questions or problems, please let me know! I can be kind of oblivious sometimes, especially when I'm focused on getting something done, so I may not always observe that you are struggling.  E-mail is a great way to contact me.

I have been teaching English in Tumwater School district since Spring of 1993, first at Tumwater High School, and then at Black Hills when it opened (Yes, I'm an original BHHS teacher!).  I believe I have taught just about every Language Arts/English subject we offer in our district, except for AP!  I love being part of BHHS, and teaching English...I'm a book geek, computer geek, and just all-around geek; I am also very craft-oriented (knit, crochet, embroider, bead, sew, paper crafts, etc.), and have a strong sense of humor.  Feel free to contact me any time!
