A bit about me:
I teach part-time, Second through Sixth periods. Outside of class, I am available after school every day, and during PACK time. You can also arrange to meet during lunch for help as well. :) I'm flexible!
I believe that ALL students have the ability to succeed, whether they think they do or not. That is my first priority! I also want to prepare you for life after high school, and this is my "end game", so to speak. Therefore, we are working together to get past the finish line successfully (and on to the next race).
With that in mind, if you ever have any questions or problems, please let me know! I can be kind of oblivious sometimes, especially when I'm focused on getting something done, so I may not always observe that you are struggling. E-mail is a great way to contact me.

I have been teaching English in Tumwater School district since Spring of 1993, first at Tumwater High School, and then at Black Hills when it opened. I believe I have taught just about every Language Arts/English subject we offer in our district, except for AP! I love being part of BHHS, and teaching English...I'm a book geek, computer geek, and just all-around geek; I am also very craft-oriented (knit, crochet, embroider, bead, sew, paper crafts, etc.), and have a strong sense of humor. That does not mean, however, that I don't take what we do seriously. Feel free to contact me any time!
