Professional Biography
Bonnie Sinclair born and raised in Olympia Washington, is a graduate from Washington State University where she receieved a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family And Consumer Science in 1984. She moved to Saratoga Springs, New York with her husband and taught several mini courses in Culinary Arts at BOCES, a Vocational Skills Center for High School. Then she moved to Olympia in 1989 and worked in the North Thurston School District while working on her Masters Degree. In 1992 she received her Master of Arts Degree in Creative Arts in Education through Lesley College at Cambridge, Massachusetts. She immediately took a position at Oaville High School and for 15 years taught Personal Finance, Home and Family Living, Arts & Crafts, and Intro to Foods. Ms Sinclair in 2007 accepted a Family and Consumer Science teaching position at Black Hills High School and since then has been teaching classes such as Nutrition & Wellness, Child Development, Personal Choices, Independent Living, Health, Healthy Relationships, and Financial Fitness.
