Tumwater High School

About Me: I'm new to Tumwater this year, coming in as a part-time ELA teacher for grades 10 and 12. I've worked as an online teacher while being home with my kids, and now I'm thrilled to return to the classroom. I subbed at THS last year, so I already know how awesome everyone is. I read constantly, and I love learning and trying new things, especially in the kitchen and at the gym. Cookies are my favorite thing to bake, and right now I'm working out at Orange Theory and can't get enough. I review the books I read on Instagram, which sometimes gets me advance copies from publishers, basically gold currency for me. My professional goal is to help students become successful and accomplished adults, applying ELA skills to any pathway they choose to take.
