Hello, everyone! My name is Ms. Cotey. I am from Tumwater, Washington and began my school journey at Black Lake Elementary. Recently, I spent three years teaching kindergarten in Shanghai, China. I am happy to be back home and to be teaching kindergarten again. I am a huge animal lover and have adopted four wonderful dogs: Piper, Huckleberry, Juniper, and Louie. I love spending time with my pups hiking and camping, and my favorite place to go is the North Cascades. I also love cooking, baking, reading, and traveling. I grew up playing soccer and I have also begun to love rock climbing and tennis. I am so excited to be a part of the Tumwater Hill team, and know that we will have a wonderful year in kindergarten together!
