Welcome to 6th grade science with Mrs. Paul!

6th grade science is a blend of hands-on investigations, literacy-rich activities, and interactive digital tools that help empower students to think, read, write, and argue like real scientists and engineers. Content being studied includes: the human microbiome, thermal energy, phase change with an engineering internship, ocean, atmosphere & climate, weather patterns, traits & reproduction, and natural selection with an engineering component. State adopted Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) are covered in depth, as well as additional topics as time allows.  STEM activities are incorporated throughout the year.
