Tumwater School District Boundary Review
During the 2018-19 school year, a Boundary Review Committee made up of community members, parents, and staff that represent each of our attendance areas was formed. Meetings started in October and will continue into the spring of 2019 when a recommendation will be made to the Superintendent and the School Board regarding proposed changes to attendance boundaries. The purpose of the committee is to mitigate imbalances in current and planned student populations as much as possible.
Two community forums were held to gather input from families, staff and community members as this process moves forward. All meeting agendas and minutes will be posted to this section as they become available.

Schedule of events:
- April 11, 2019 Board Meeting, 7 pm DO Board Room, Committee Facilitator James Dugan will present parameters and process review along with preliminary boundary adjustment recommendations
- April 8-30, 2019 - Superintendent and staff develop formal boundary adjustment recommendations
- May 9, 2019 Board Meeting, 7 pm DO Board Room, 1st Reading of Elementary Boundary Changes
- June 13, 2019 Board Meeting, 7 pm DO Board Room, 2nd Reading and possible action to accept Elementary Boundary Changes
