    Biography
    I grew up on Tumwater Hill and in the Black Lake area - a proud attendee of Tumwater schools from K-12.  I graduated from Tumwater High School and attended the University of Puget Sound and Central Washington University.  I graduated from CWU in 1994 with honors, and began teaching 4th grade in Tenino.  I spent 21 years at Tenino Elementary - working with many gifted colleagues and wonderful families.
     
    I am now back "home" at Michael T., the school I attended when I was an elementary student!  I have many fond memories of my caring teachers and cherished the time I spent in the big, old brick building on Linwood Avenue.  My past teachers and experiences at MTS were monumental influences in my decision to become an educator, so I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to be back here at MTS, coming full circle.  This is my 29th year in fourth grade.
