    Professional Biography
This is my second year at Michael T. and I'm so excited to teach sixth grade this year! I will be the ELA teacher on our wonderful sixth grade team!
Before moving to Washington a few years ago, I taught kindergarten in Connecticut. I also have several years of experience as a substitute teacher in all the grades! I earned my teaching degree at Central Connecticut State University, where I majored in English and Geography.
Please visit our classroom blog at www.mtssixthgrade.blogspot.com, where information is updated daily. You will find homework, vocabulary, and other important information for all of sixth grade.

    A Little Bit About Me
I love teaching! It has been a passion for me for as long as I can remember! My first grade teacher (yes, way back when!) was my inspiration to become a life long learner and to become a teacher. In my free time, I enjoy running and playing sports. I was fortunate enough to be able to compete at the Division I level in college in track and cross country, and have been athletic ever since my older brother first said he was better than me at something! I am competitive and love to be the best I can be. I also enjoy baking, reading, and being crafty. I am the youngest of my siblings. I have 2 brothers and a twin sister (who isn't afraid to remind me that she's TWO minutes older!) I am so looking forward to meeting all of you and getting to know you this year!
