Professional Biography
Welcome to Michael T. Simmons. My name is Sara Smith and this is my eighth year teaching here at MTS. Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I enjoy working with all the young second grade students.
I graduated in 2010 from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California with a degree in Elementary Education. I went there on a track scholarship competing in the Heptathlon. In 2006, I graduated from Olympia High School. While on the high school track team, we won 4A State Championship, winning the first school 4A title for women since becoming a 4A school.
This site contains useful information about our class and I am trying to update it with everything you need. Please feel free to call me or email me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
I look forward to seeing how much more your students will grow.
