Debate is an officially sanctioned WIAA activity.  We travel around the Northwest debating other high school teams at their schools and at university and nationally sponsored tournaments.  Our team does Public Forum Debate, a team activity, and we do a wide range of speaking events ranging from dramatic interpretations of plays to Oratory.  The season runs from October to May.  We debate 2 weekends per month, sometimes on overnight trips, sometimes to commuter sites.  We welcome all students!  The Debate Team looks great on college applications!
