Communications to Families

The District uses Mass Notifications to very quickly place a phone call, text, and/or email all families and staff. If there is an issue that will impact the start of the school day, we will send a robocall to all families at around 6 am. In order for this system to work best, please keep your contact information in Qmlativ (Skyward) up-to-date.

Get notified as soon as we contact the media = FlashAlert.net

Flash Alert provides notifications to the media and to families who have subscribed (it's free). This is the first contact we made once a decision has been made. Families can sign up to receive a notification from Flash Alert:

  1. Click here to go directly to FlashAlert URL: https://flashalert.net/id/TumwaterSD
  2. Enter your email address and click the Subscribe button.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your email address and finalize the account.
  4. Download the FlashAlert Messenger apps in Android App Store or iOS App Store
