EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES

 
In the event the Tumwater School District makes the decision to run emergency snow routes, the route information is included below. TSD sends notifications to the news media, staff and families no later than 6 a.m. if schools will be closed, classes are delayed or school bus service is altered due to weather or other conditions. Some last minute changes may be necessary if we are on snow routes depending on weather conditions.
 
For two hour late start - No AM or PM Pre School, No AM New Market Session and No Out of District Transportation. Please check for any weather-related alerts on the district website.
 
Snow Routes - Unless otherwise noted, buses run snow routes on regular schedule. If there is a delayed start to school, notifications will indicate the time delay and that buses are on snow routes.
 
During inclement weather, the district will try to keep bus routes as near to normal as possible. Please have your students to the bus stop 10 minutes prior to their regular pick up time. If we are on a two-hour delay, have your students arrive at their pickup spot two hours later than their normal time.

If your street is not listed, buses will operate NORMALLY.

 

BLACK LAKE AREA

Route 251 - No service up Fairview Hill.  The bus stops at Kennydell Park, east parking lot.  No service to Cavalier St SW or Cavalier Loop SW.  The bus stops at 66th Ave SW & Cavalier St SW.

Route 252 - No service on Nels Rd or Kinney Rd into Evergreen Shores. All stops meet at the Black Lake Grange.

Route 253 - No service on Alpine Dr SW, Maplewood Ct SW, Foothill Dr SW, or Northill Dr SW.  The bus stops at the Black Lake Grange (6011 Black Lake Blvd SW). No service on Delphi RD SW between 62nd Ave SW and Alpine Dr SW.  The bus stops at Delphi Rd SW & Camelot Dr SW.  No service at Cougar Ridge Estates.  The bus stops at Delphi Rd SW & Capital Forest Dr SW.  No service on Delphi Road north of Camelot Drive. Stops at Camelot Dr SW at Delphi Rd SW.

Route 254 - No Snow Route

 

EAST OLYMPIA AREA

Route 121 - No service in Sunwood Lakes, Foxhill Lane, Spurgeon Creek or Rainier Road. The bus will pick up students at the gravel area across from the Chevron on Spurgeon Creek and Yelm Hwy. - No service to Trowbridge. The bus will pick up students at the Flying Carpet MHP on Fir Tree Road.

Route 122 – No Service in Hickory Ridge.  The bus picks up at Rich Rd SE & Hickory Ct.  No service on Keenland Park Ln. Stops on Rixie  Rd SE & Keanland Park Ln SE

Route 123 -  No service into Cedar Ridge Estates or Cedar Lake area. Students will get on the bus at the South Union Grange.  No service on TILLEY RD south of 101st Ave SW.  The bus stops at South Union Grange.  No service to 100th St and Hart Rd. The bus will pick up at South Union Grange.  No service into Springer Hills. The bus will stop at Springer Hills Ln SE and 93rd Ave SE.

Route124 -  No service down 74th Ave SE. Students will be picked up at the intersection of 74th and Normandy.  No Service in Hickory Ridge.  The bus picks up at Rich Rd SE & Hickory Ct.  No service down Snowdrop St SE. The bus will pick up students at the intersection of Snowdrop St. SE and 93rd Ave SE.

Route 125 - No service to 8640 Burns. Students will be picked up at Burns and 88th Ave SW.  No service to 100th St and Hart Rd. The bus will pick up at South Union Grange.  No service to Viola and Shootingstar, Eleanor Dr., Priscilla Dr. or Wyatt Ct.  The bus will pick up at Silverspot and 89th at the little bus shed.  No service on McCorkle Rd SW, Myra Ln, 105th Ln or Wilmer Ln.  Stops at South Union Grange.  

Route 126 - No service on Latigo St SE or the section of 93rd Ave SE off Latigo.  The bus stops at 89th Ave SE & Latigo St.  No service on 74TH AVE SE, EAST OF NORMANDY.  Stops on Normandy at 74th Ave SE.  No service on Trowbridge Rd.  The bus will pick up students at Fir Tree Rd SE & 87th Ave SE.

Route 127 - No service to Cedar Lake nor Sheldon Rd SE. The bus will meet students at the South Union Grange.  No service on Tilley Rd south of 101st Ave SW.  The bus stops at South Union Grange.  No service on McCorkle Rd SW, 113th Ave SW, Myra Ln, 105th Ln or Wilmer Ln.  Stops at South Union Grange. 

 

LITTLEROCK AREA

Route 101 - No service on 101ST AVE SW or NORTH ON DELPHI from 101ST.  Stops at 10324 Delphi Mobile Home Park at Delphi Rd SW & 103rd Ave SW Entrance

Route 131 - No service to Field of Dreams. The bus will pick up students at the bottom of the hill at the intersection of Crockett Rd SW and 118th Ave SW.  No service on Champion Hill. The bus will pick up students at Link Ct.  No service on 113th AVE SW between TILLEY RD & CASE RD.  Stops at 113th Ave SW at Scott Lake Community Center.

Route 132 -  No service on Champion Hill. The bus will pick up students at Link Ct SW.  No service on 118TH AVENUE SW.  Stops at Endicott Rd  SW @ 118th Ave SW.  

Route 133 - No service down Shawn Dr. The stop will be at the intersection of Shawn Dr and Delphi Rd SW.  No service into DELPHI HILLS.  Stops at Delphi Rd at 105th Ave SW and Waddle Creek Rd at 105th Ave SW.  No service on MARKSMAN, BORDEAUX, OR THE GUN CLUB.  Stops on Mima Rd at 128th.  No service on WADDELL CREEK RD to NOSCHKA ROAD.  Stops at Lake Lucinda Dr SW at Lake Lucinda Ct SW.  No service on 110th AVE SW between LITTLEROCK RD & DELPHI. Stops at fire station on Littlerock. No service on LaFrance Rd SW. The bus stops at Littlerock Rd SW & 123rd Ave SW.

Route 134 - No service on 110th AVE SW between LITTLEROCK RD & DELPHI. Stops at fire station on Littlerock. No service on 101ST AVE SW off of Dephi RD.  The bus stops at 10324 Delphi Mobile Home Park at Delphi Rd SW & 103rd Ave SW Entrance. No service on Littlerock Rd (south of 133rd Ave SW), 140th Avenue SW or Erskine Rd.  The bus stops at 133rd Ave SW @ Erskine Rd SW.  No service on Case Rd SW, Maytown Rd SW or up Shadowbrook Rd.  The bus stops at Littlerock Elementary Bus Load Zone. 

Route 202 - No service on WADDELL CREEK RD to NOSCHKA ROAD.  Stops at Lake Lucinda Dr SW @ Lake Lucinda Ct SW.  No service down Shawn Dr. The stop will be at the intersection of Shawn Dr and Delphi Rd SW.

 

MICHAEL T. SIMMONS AREA

Route 201 - No service on NORTH BLOMBERG, stops at 93rd Ave.& Blomberg St.  No service on 104TH AVE SW; the bus stops at Jones Rd SW & 104th Ave SW.  No service on 107TH AVE SW; the bus stops at Jones Rd SW & 107th Ave SW.  No service on PRINE DR SW; the bus stops at Littlerock Rd SW & Prine Dr SW.

Route 241 - No service on Trosper Lakes St SW and Louise St SW. Students will be picked up at the intersection of Trosper Lakes and Trosper Rd and also at the intersection of Louise St SW and Trosper Rd SW.  No service on PRINE DR SW; the bus stops at Littlerock Rd SW & Prine Dr SW.

Route 242 - No service on NORTH BLOMBERG, stops at 93rd Ave.& Blomberg St.  No service on 104TH AVE SW; the bus stops at Jones Rd SW & 104th Ave SW.  No service on 107TH AVE SW; the bus stops at Jones Rd SW & 107th Ave SW.  No service on 83RD AVE SW or RHONDO ST SW; the bus stops at Littlerock Rd SW & 83rd Ave SW.

Route 243 - No service on LAZY, LIVELY OR VACATION. Stops at 70th Ave and Lazy or 70th Ave at Lively.

Route 244 - No service on Vista Loop SW. The bus will stop on Crosby St SW at Intercity Transit stop just South of Somerset Hill Dr.  No service on 12th Ave SW.  The bus will stop at 1102 Irving St SW.

 

PETER G. SCHMIDT AREA

Route 111 - No service to Deschutes River Highlands, Munn Lake. The bus will pick students up at Henderson Ave at Deschutes Cove Apts.  No service at 79TH AVE SE, Belmonte or 80th Ave. The bus will stop at 79TH AVE SE & Shadowbrook SE. No service at Arab Drive. All Arab drive stops will meet at Trails End Drive SE and Arab Drive SE.

Route 112 - No Snow Route

Route 113 - No service to Silver Ridge Estates. The bus will pick students up at the intersection of Dennis St SE and Elm St.  No service T St SE or White Hawk Ln.  Students will be picked up at Elm St SE & T ST SE.  No service to V St SE or Darby Ct.  Students will be picked up at Elm St SE & V ST SE. 

Route 114 - No service to Deschutes River Highlands, Munn Lake. The bus will pick students up at Deschutes Cove Apts. No Service on Henderson Blvd @ 68th Ave SE.  The bus will pick students up at Deschutes Cove Apts.  No service on 65th Ave SE. The bus will pick students up at Deschutes Cove Apts.  

Route 115 - No Snow Route

Route 116 - No service to Deschutes River Highlands, Munn Lake. The bus will pick students up at Deschutes Cove Apts. No Service on Henderson Blvd @ 68th Ave SE, 6306 Henderson Blvd, Pioneer Park or 6521 Henderson Blvd SE.  The bus will pick students up at Deschutes Cove Apts.  No service on 65th Ave SE. The bus will pick students up at Deschutes Cove Apts.   

 

TUMWATER HILL AREA

Route 261- No service on Joppa, Lambskin or Charter Ln SW. Students will be picked up at 50th Ave SW and Joppa. No Service on Bush Mt. The bus will stop at Sapp RD SW & Bush Mountain.  No Service on Simmons Mill Ct.  The bus stops at RW Johnson & Chapparel Dr SW.  No service on Woodland Dr, Dellrose Rd or Brookside Rd. The bus stops on Crosby Blvd at Dellrose Rd and at Crosby Blvd at Brookside Rd.

Route 262 - No service on SOMMERSET HILL.  The bus will stop on Crosby St SW at Intercity Transit stop just South of Somerset Hill Dr.  No service at Barnes Blvd at Breckenridge Apts.  The bus will stop on Crosby St SW at Intercity Transit stop just South of Somerset Hill Dr.   No service at Blue Sky Dr. and Vista Verde Ln SW.  The bus will stop at Barnes Blvd SW and Blue Sky Dr SW.  No service at C St SW & S 5th Ave SW.  The bus will stop at S 3rd Ave SW & C St SW.  

Route 263 – High /Middle: No Service on Cassie Dr SW or Chapparel Dr SW.  The bus stops at Antsen St SW & 30th Ave SW.   No Service on Vista Loop SW & either end of Dahlia Ln.  The bus will stop at the bottom end of Barnes Blvd SW (where it meets S 7th Ave SW) & Vista Loop SW.  No service on RW Johnson Blvd.  The bus stops at Firland St SW & 28th Ave SW.  No Stops on Monterey St SW.  The bus picks up @ Mottman Rd SW & Monterey St SW at approximately 7:02 AM.  No service on 12th Ave SW.  The bus stops at Irving St SW & 12th Ave SW at approximately 7:07 AM.

Route 263 – Tumwater Hill:  - No Service on Cassie Dr SW or Chapparel Dr SW.  The bus stops at Antsen St SW & 30th Ave SW.  No service on SOMMERSET HILL.  The bus will stop on Crosby St SW at Intercity Transit stop just South of Somerset Hill Dr.  No service on Vista Loop & either end of Dahlia Ln.  The bus will stop at the bottom end of Barnes Blvd SW (where it meets S 7th Ave SW)  & Vista Loop SW. No service on RW Johnson Blvd. The bus stops at Firland St SW & 28th Ave SW. No stops on Monterey St SW.  The bus picks up at Mottman Rd SW & Monterey St SW.
