Illness and Injury

Students coming to the Health Room for illnesses and injuries are cared for by staff trained in Health Room procedures and First Aid/CPR. Health assistants are in the Health Room 6 hours a day. Trained staff includes Tumwater School District school nurses, health assistants and office staff.

If a child is not feeling well, parents may follow the When to Keep Your Child Home guidelines to help determine if their child should come to school.

If your child is absent, please call your child's school office to let them know the reason and when your child will be returning to school.
