Buildings and Grounds

The Buildings and Grounds Department provides year-round support for education throughout Tumwater School District by providing services such as: building maintenance, grounds maintenance, custodial services, surplus sales, facility use and rental, chemical applications, safety inspections, resource conservation management, warehouse management, district mail delivery, and water quality testing.      

The mission of our Buildings and Grounds support team is to maintain safe and functional schools. This atmosphere will enable all students to gain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become responsible, contributing citizens.
