•      Read!  It’s important.  Like, really, really important.  It's important for me too, which is why I'll be reading all summer, and maybe occasionally posting things about my reading on this page.  I guarantee you that if you are reading a lot of Good Fit material, you will be increasingly prepared and successful in school.  Here are some ideas:

    • Books. There’s almost definitely one in your house somewhere.  If not, email me, and I’ll send you a sanitized one.
    • Online content through the tech resources page.  Newsela is a great current events website. You can even adjust the reading level at the top, to make it more or less challenging.
    • This website.  It might not be your favorite, but there sure are a lot of words here.  And Mr. Nunlist does a great job of using vocabulary words.
    • Other websites.  Into sports? There’s a website (or 5 million) for that.  News? That’s covered too. Gamer tips? *sigh* I guess that counts too.  Here's one for StoryWorks, the magazine we get in 5th grade language arts.  5th graders signed up for Mrs. Brannin's and Mrs. Fisher's Google Classrooms should be able to log in using their Google accounts.
    • JK Rowling's The Ickabog
    • Anything!  Just READ!
