Degrees and Certifications:
Allie Des Rochers
Hello, my name is Alli Des Rochers (Day-Row- Shay) and I am the Pre-Veterinary Technician instructor. I graduated college at Eastern Washington University with a degree in Athletic Training and a Minor in Coaching (specifically weight lifting and track and field). I finished my Career and Technical Educators course through Central Washington University about a year ago. While my degree is not in Veterinary care I have spent my whole life learning about and working with animals of all shapes and sizes including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, goats, alpacas, cows and horses. It has been so much fun to teach students the anatomy and physiology of animals, the medical terms they will need to know and the confidence they need to move on to a job related to working with animals or be able to better care for their animals. My after school hobbies include taking care of my small farm. I have two dogs, three cats, four goats, about 20 chickens and a fish. I also enjoy working sporting events and coaching weight lifting and track. Over the years I have learned to play bass, paint, dance, and play multiple sports. My philosophy is that humor and laughter are the greatest gift in life.
