    The students will test their gyrocopters we made last Friday. Then the students will create an account on WA Precision Exams. Finally, the students will look at early attemps of humans to fly, including the Greek myth of Daedalus and Icarus.

    Tuesday, Sep 10

    The students will research aircraft that are powered my human strength. Then we will learn that humans first flew using balloons.

    Wednesday, Sep 11

    Hot air balloon construction.

    Thursday, Sep 12

    We will fly our hot air balloons today. Then the students will reflect on their balloon's performance and research employment opportunities in ballooning.

    Friday, Sep 13

    The students will see Otto Lilienthal's glider flight and then build gliders and test the effects of wing position and weight on its flight.
