    Tuesday, Oct 17

    We will calculate the mass change during a fission reaction. Then we will use E=mc2 to determine the energy produced in that reaction.  
    Wednesday, Oct 18

    The students will learn how nuclear chain reactions can be moderated to produce useful energy.  

    Thursday, Oct 19

    We will investigate the 3 types of radioactive decay. The students will conduct an experiment to model radioactive half-life.  

    Friday, Oct 20

    We will investigate how to store radioactive waste.
