    Health Service's vision is for Tumwater School District's students to achieve optimal health to maximize their learning potential. Health Service's mission is to have a positive effect on the educational experience and lifelong well-being of the students we serve.

    Tumwater School District has five School Nurses.  Each nurse has a Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license and four have a Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate. Health Services also has two Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and eight trained Health Assistants. All Health Services staff are certified in First Aid/CPR.
     
     
    The TSD Wellness Health Rooms are located adjacent to the school's front office or to the attendance office. Health Services has assigned a full-time LPN or Health Assistant to the Health Rooms at each of the Tumwater Schools. The School Nurses make regularly scheduled visits to the Health Rooms at their assigned schools.
