  • School Safety Tip Line - (360) 709-7998

    Students and other members of the public can anonymously report or share information of a threat or potential threat to student safety. Callers will be able to leave a voice message at (360) 709-7998. Messages are monitored by the administrative office during regular business hours. Please note this is not an emergency response line. If you are reporting an emergency situation, please call 911. When leaving your tip, please leave as much detail as possible so that your concern can be thoroughly investigated. All tips will be considered seriously. An online platform for tips will be added to our webpage soon.

  • WELCOME TO SECONDARY OPTIONS

    Secondary Options is for high school students who are interested in creating a program to fit their particular needs in order to find success. It is also designed to encourage students, who have left school to re-enter high school to earn a diploma. Credit is earned through demonstrated mastery of class assignments using a variety of assessment models, as well as some course work available on an independent basis.

  • Student of the Quarter

    The votes are in!! The Secondary Options staff would like to announce the 3rd Quarter "Students of the Quarter"! The Secondary Options instructors choose one student per quarter, those students are chosen based on their attendance, grades, behavior and work ethic. The chosen students will be announced at the end of each quarter and at that time they will receive a "Hard Work Cafe' " t-shirt and a certificate for their efforts. The 3rd Quarter "Students of the Quarter" are: Brittney Krall, chosen by Rebecca Halbert, John Watson, chosen by Jeanette Holocher, Tristan Friesner, chosen by Thatcher Wood, Genevieve Dabrowski, chosen by Tim Voie, and Shawna Thomas, chosen by Mike Stuck. Congratulations to you all, you've done a great job!!

  • Secondary Options High School Summer School

    Summer School will be held at Tumwater High School. Session 1 starts at 9:00 am and ends at 10:45 am. Second Session starts at 11:00 am and ends at 12:45 am. For more information click on the picture to the left or call Debbie Center at 360-709-7761.

  • Summer School at NMSC Registration Opens on April 25th

    Summer School registration at NMSC opens tomorrow – check out the new offerings. Registration is all done on-line, through our website, and counselors do NOT need to sign.

  • SUMMER BREAK IS ALMOST HERE!!

    Summer Break is just 30 school days away!! There is still plenty to do in that time. Seniors have their Exit Interviews coming up! They will need a resume’ to present to the panel and each student will be expected to answer a minimum of 4 – 15 questions. Students needing more information and an Exit Interview packet, please see your instructors. Students don’t forget that you will need to turn in all books and please take care of any fines that you might have. Seniors’ will need to clear any fines before they can receive their diploma. Students planning on taking Summer School classes, please see your instructors or counselors. These few weeks are going to fly by, so don’t let it catch you by surprise!   • 2018 SECONDARY OPTIONS GRADUATION!!

    The commencement this year will take place Monday, June 11th, in the Performing Arts Center, at the south side of Black Hills High School, located at 7741 Littlerock Road. We are asking seniors to arrive no later than 6:15 PM, so the ceremony will start promptly at 7:00 PM. This ceremony is open to all that want to attend, and we encourage you to invite and bring as many friends and family members as you want to celebrate this event.
