ACT/EARLY RELEASE SCHEDULE
Academic Collaboration Time or ACT days were first introduced in the district in 2008-09 to provide teachers with time to meet with grade level and subject area peers to work on curriculum, data review and more. When school is meeting for in-person instruction, students are released 75 minutes early one day per week on (usually Friday) for ACT. For the 2020-21 school year, ACT will be on Wednesdays. The only exception is the last day of school will be a half day. Please refer to the school calendar for the release times for ACT.
We annually evaluate the effectiveness of this use of time based on student performance and staff perceptions. Thank you for working with us as we do our best to serve all of our students and families.
