Tumwater Midle School offers No-Cut WIAA Volleyball for Varsity and Junior Varsity skill levels for 7th and 8th Grades (6th grade volleyball available in Fall and late Spring seasons with YMCA...see here more more information about 6th grade Activities/Athletics).

All players must be cleared by ASB Athletic Secretary Mary Taylor (709-7550) prior to practicing. See here for more information about Athletic Clearance. Students should have gym shoes, shorts, and a t-shirt for practice; recommendations about other equipment will be made by coaches.

*Girls' Volleyball Season Starts on Tuesday, February 19.  Unless otherwise notified, practices will be 2:30 - 4:30 daily.  There will be Friday practice on Feb. 22 from 1:30-3:30pm. Then, practices will be Mondays through Thursday for the remainder of the season. No PM transportation is offered for any TMS sports so parents/guardians are expected to pick up their student athletes promptly at 4:30 pm (or otherwise as indicated) for practices and in the evenings for bus pickup after travel games (times vary between 7-8 pm).

Games will start at 4:00 pm. 8th grade games start first with 7th to follow until approx. halfway through the season (Game times switch TBD).

As soon as game schedules are determined, they will be posted on the school calendar.

*Due to issues related to weather-related school closures across the region, TMS and other league members have modified the season start and length of the volleyball season.
