    Summer Practice Schedule:


    • Gear Pick-up Day = 8/22 @ TMS from 6-8 pm

    • No Pads (helmet, mouthpiece, and cleats) = 8/26-8/30 (Begin at 5:30 pm; end at 7:30)

    • Full Pads= rest of season beginning 9/3 (Begin at 5:30 pm; end at 7:30)

    • No practice on 9/2 (Labor Day Holiday)

    • TWO FRIDAY PRACTICES SCHEDULED.  This is NEW INFORMATION as of 8/23/19.  In order to meet the WIAA requirement of 12 complete practices prior to the first scheduled game, there will be practice on these two dates:  August 30th (5:30pm-7:30pm) and September 6th, 3:00pm-5:00pm 

    Beginning 9/4, practices run from 3:00-5:00 pm (Mondays through Thursdays).  The first Friday of school there will be a practice from 3:00pm-5:00pm because this is not an ACT Friday.  After the first week of school, practices will be Mondays through Thursdays only.  Players should be dressed in their gear and ready to start practice at 3:00 on the Lower practice field.

    Greetings Firewolves Football Families,

    Touching base with all of you about the fast approaching start to the season prior to equipment issue on August 22nd.  If you haven’t completed the 2019-20 Athletic Packet please do so prior to equipment issue; football players will also need to purchase $10 practice shirts. The TMS Main office will be open to accept Athletic clearance packets and fees on August 6th and Sarah Nelson (ASB Secretary) will provide coaches with a list of players who’ve submitted a completed packet and are eligible to participate beginning with equipment issue on August 22nd. 

    At gear check-out on Aug. 22, students will be issued their gear (practice jerseys, pads, helmets) and will submit ordering information for practice t-shirts for the season.  

    We still plan to practice on the lower field at TMS starting August 26th from 5:30-7:30 PM, but won’t have locker facilities available so plan on your athletes carting their gear until facilities are completed.  The first week of practice will only require your athlete to come to practice with helmet (and mouthpiece!) and cleats. If cleats are an issue send your athlete anyways and we’ll try to find them a pair.  If you know this will be an issue in advance please contact one of the coaching staff listed below. 

    Practice and game schedules are still in development. Coach Rongen will provide a practice schedule on 8/22 at Gear Check-out Night and a game schedule will be shared in late August or early September. The only information available is that the first game is scheduled for 9/12 and both grade level teams will play. After the first week, 7th grade games will be played on Tuesdays and 8th grade games on Wednesdays.

    If there are volunteers looking to assist with coaching, please contact Coach Kris Rongen and fill out a volunteer form at TMS.  Other volunteer opportunities include providing snacks for road games, filming games, and working the chains or scoreboard (if we have home games). 

    If we don’t have adequate turnout to field both 7th and 8th grade teams we’ll combine squads and send out an updated calendar and game schedule.  Regardless of our numbers, we look forward to another great season of Firewolves football!

    Gear Pick-up Day: August 16 @ 6-8 pm. Please park in the parking lot and use the new gym door entry (to the right when facing the front entry of the school); The Gear Pick-up does not count as a practice day for eligibility purposes.
