    TMS Athletics for 7th and 8th Grades

     

     

    Attention 6th Grade Families: Sports offered at TMS are for 7th and 8th grade students only as per WIAA rules/guidelines. Please visit Tumwater Parks and Recreation and other local clubs/organizations for Athletic programs available to 6th grade students.


     

    Year-Long Athletics/Activities Offered for 7th and 8th Grade Students

      
     Season One (Aug-Oct): Football, Girls' Soccer, Cross Country; Season Two (Oct-Dec): Girls' Basketball, Wrestling, Dance (Oct-Feb); Season Three (Jan-Feb): Boys' Basketball, Dance (Oct-Feb); Season Four (Feb-Apr): Volleyball; Season Five (April-May): Track
     
     
     

    TMS Fall Sports (Season One) Information

     
    All players must be cleared by our Athletic Secretary Mary Taylor before students can practice; Athletic Packets (see link below) must be completed in full and verified by Mrs. Taylor and all fees (Sports and one-time ASB fee) must be paid prior to participation/first practice. Some financial assistance may be available for those who qualify.

    Summer Athletic Clearance Hours

    August 14-18            8 AM-3 PM                  *Temporary Office (B8)

    Before school starts, parents will need to drop off and pick up their students at BHHS; after school begins on Sept. 6, students will be shuttled to BHHS by the school and parents will need to pick their students up at BHHS.

    All practices and home games will be played at Pioneer Park in Tumwater (5801 Henderson Blvd SE, Tumwater, WA 98501). Before school starts, parents will need to drop off and pick up their students at Pioneer Park; after school begins on Sept. 6, students will be shuttled to Pioneer Park by the school and parents will need to pick their students up at Pioneer Park.

     
    Tumwater Middle School has a $40.00 fee for all sports.  If you have questions about sports or sport fees, please contact Mary Taylor at 709-7501.
