A. G. West Black Hills High School

This class is offered to any Tumwater School District high school student. The goal is to prepare the student for passing the FAA Private Pilot knowledge test in preparation for earning a pilot's certificate. The class will meet from 2:30-4:30 on Tuesday and Thursday at Black Hills High School. Part of the instruction time will be spent learning the fundamentals and regulations for flying. The remaining time will be implementing those lessons in the flight simulator. 

Where to meet for those joining us from outside BHHS.

The curriculum will be based on the AOPA Aviation Stem Curriculum  and the FAA's Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge.  The curriculum will be supplemented by curriculum and simulators supplied by STEMPilot.
