  • Four Tumwater Schools Earn State Recognition

    The state recently recognized four Tumwater School District schools for growth, closing achievement gaps, and demonstrated achievement in specific areas during the 2018-19 school year. We celebrate and congratulate the staff and students at: East Olympia Elementary - growth for students who receive special education services; Michael T. Simmons Elementary - growth for students identifying as Asian; Tumwater Hill Elementary - closing gaps for one or more student groups at a targeted support school; and Tumwater Middle School - growth for students identifying as Black and students who are English learners.     Tumwater School District is fortunate to have community partners that have stepped right in to help support our families during the extended school closure. Boys & Girls Club and South Sound Y Care understand the critical need that many families have for full-day childcare and will be providing opportunities for families to access this resource during this time.   • Student Transfer Timelines

  • Safe Schools - See Something, Say Something!

    Students and other members of the public can anonymously report or share information of a threat or potential threat to student safety. Tipsters will be able to leave a voice message, text message, web connect or email. Messages are monitored by the administrative office during regular business hours. Please note this is not an emergency response line. If you are reporting an emergency situation, please call 911. When leaving your tip, leave as much detail as possible so that your concern can be thoroughly investigated. All tips will be considered seriously.
