Special Programs in our Department are:
All Day Kindergarten
Any entry level student who resides within the Tumwater School District and turns 5-years old on or before August 31st is eligible for participation in the All-Day Kindergarten program at their neighborhood school. The fee is $250 per month for ten months. Please contact your school for more information.
Note: ADK Program admittance may depend on space availability.
Elementary Gifted Services Our program is designed to serve the top 3% of the student population based on high cognitive ability, high academic achievement, and learning characteristics associated with exceptional creativity. Tumwater School District will administer a cognitive ability assessment once annually with prior family notification.
Program Continuation - Students who demonstrate satisfactory performance in their classroom and in the program may continue from one grade level to another. Participation continues into middle school.
