The City of Tumwater is sponsoring a FREE summer food program. If you are 18 or under, lunch will be served every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between noon and 12:30 at Peter G. Schmidt Elementary School, 225 Dennis Street SE, Tumwater. Please call 754-4160 with questions.
In order to close out 2012-13 food services accounts, there will be no online Food Services payments after June 18, 2013. Any balance in your account(s) will roll over to the 2013-14 school year. On September 1, 2013, Skyward parent access will re-open for food service online payments and electronic free/reduced meal applications. Please call the Food Services office at 360-709-7740 with any questions.
Final decisions on the 2013-14 General Fund budget await State Legislative Action. None-the-less, we are moving forward with plans to implement new Common Core standards, a new Teacher/Principal Evaluation Program, a new Highly Capable instructional model, school safety initiatives, and more. Meeting will be held in the District Office Board Room, 621 Linwood Ave. SW, Tumwater. Food will be provided beginning at 5:00 for early arrivals.

Transfer requests are still being accepted for the 2013-14 school year. Blank forms can be picked up at the district office or at any school. All forms need to have appropriate signatures from the student's resident school district prior to being received in our office. Please turn in forms to Tami Collins at the Tumwater District Office and call 709-7000 with questions or concerns.
