    Join us in celebration for 2015 National Autism Awareness Month! National Autism Awareness Month represents an excellent opportunity to promote autism awareness, autism acceptance and to draw attention to the tens of thousands facing an autism diagnosis each year.

    Inaugurated by the Academy of American Poets in 1996, National Poetry Month, held every April, is the largest literary celebration in the world with schools, publishers, libraries, booksellers, and poets celebrating poetry’s vital place in our culture.

  • Kindergarten Information Meeting

    You are invited to attend our Kindergarten Information Meeting on Friday, May 1st from 2:00-3:00pm in the Michael T. Simmons gym. This is an opportunity for parents and students to meet our teachers and receive an introduction to both the All Day Kindergarten and Half Day Kindergarten programs.

  • Kindergarten Open Enrollment

    Elementary Open Enrollment begins Monday, March 2, 2015. We will have an All Day Kindergarten (ADK) and an AM 1/2 day and a PM 1/2 Day Kindergarten program. Students will be chosen for the ADK program based on a lottery drawing held in May. You can pick up a registration packet in the office. Click on the headline for more information.

  • Tumwater Outdoor Venture

    All 6th grade students in the Tumwater School District will participate in a field trip to Camp Thunderbird on Summit Lake, west of Olympia. Camp Thunderbird is less than 30 minutes away. Students will have a full day of outdoor experiences which will include a multitude of environmental science options. They will also be able to connect with their respective middle school peers.
