    Kids Closet Clothing Bank- Peter G. Schmidt Elementary - March 14

    Free Clothing is being distributed from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. Clothing is free to any child in need and there will not be any income verification. Please bring your own bags.

  • Countdown to Kindergarten - March 7th

    Tumwater School District is inviting any parent with a kindergartener entering school next year in the Tumwater district to join them at this information meeting. There will be a short presentation followed by time to access resources from staff representatives of their child’s particular school.   • Interdistrict / Interzone Forms

    This is just a reminder to our families that live outside of the East Olympia Elementary boundaries, that applying for an Interdistrict or Interzone Transfer is an annual process, so A NEW FORM IS REQUIRED EACH YEAR. Forms are available in our office or the Tumwater School District office. Completed forms can be submitted to our school office or Tami Collins at the Tumwater School District office beginning MARCH 2, 2015 for RETURNING TRANSFER STUDENTS. NEW Interdistrict or Interzone applications will be received beginning APRIL 1. Please be aware that renewal and new applications are not considered "received" until they reach the TSD office. Applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis. In addition, space availability, behavior and attendance issues will be considered. Please contact our office at 709-7150 with any questions.

  • Tumwater Outdoor Venture - 6th Grade - May 19

    All 6th grade students in the Tumwater School District will Participate in a one-day field trip at Camp Thunderbird located on Summitt Lake in Shelton. At the camp they will participate in many environmental science studies, outdoor education experiences and connect with other students from around the district.
