Our Lost and Found area is running over and spilling out everywhere. We have so many coats, sweatshirts and lunch items that are not being claimed. If you have any time, PLEASE stop by and look through the items in the L&F area. We have a wonderful volunteer who has sorted through the clothing so it is easy to find items. Any items left here by the end of the school year will be donated.
The end of the school year is upon us with many class field trips scheduled for May and June. If you decide you want to volunteer to help with a field trip, we need to have your volunteer application on hand 2 weeks prior to a field trip. The final date we will accept applications is Friday, May 15. You may stop in to the office and pick up a form or you can call to have us send a form home with your child. If you have any questions, just call the office at 709-7150.
This is just a reminder to our families that live outside of the East Olympia Elementary boundaries, that applying for an Interdistrict or Interzone Transfer is an annual process, so A NEW FORM IS REQUIRED EACH YEAR. Forms are available in our office or the Tumwater School District office. Completed forms can be submitted to our school office or Tami Collins at the Tumwater School District office beginning MARCH 2, 2015 for RETURNING TRANSFER STUDENTS. NEW Interdistrict or Interzone applications will be received beginning APRIL 1. Please be aware that renewal and new applications are not considered "received" until they reach the TSD office. Applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis. In addition, space availability, behavior and attendance issues will be considered. Please contact our office at 709-7150 with any questions.
