  • English/Language Arts Curriculum

This year, a district committee comprised of English and Special Education teachers in grades 6 - 12 has been reviewing new options for our English/Language Arts curriculum and they will select a new curriculum for grades 9 - 12 starting in the 2016-2017 school year. We will select a new ELA curriculum for grades 6 - 8 next year for use starting in the 2017 - 2018 school year. We invite you to preview the top three curriculum options (SpringBoard, My Perspectives, and Collections) and provide feedback at a parent meeting on April 20th from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at the Tumwater District Office at 621 Linwood Ave. SW. Samples of each curriculum will also be on display in the secondary school libraries beginning after Spring Break and continuing for a few week.
