    Please join us for the annual TMS Family BBQ on Tuesday, May 26th during both lunches. 7th grade lunch is 11:00 - 11:30 and 8th grade lunch is 12:00 - 12:30. Adult lunches are $3.70 and student lunches are $2.70. Hope to see you there!

  • Immunizations & Sports Physicals

    No cost to all Tumwater School District Students; Immunizations and Sports Physicals will be provided at Tumwater Middle School on Tuesday, August 18th between the hours of 3:00 and 8:00 pm. This is an awesome opportunity provided by Medical Reserve Corp., Thurston County Public Health, TOGETHER! and Tumwater School District.

  • College Bound Scholarship

    The Deadline for 8th grade families to apply is June 30th 2015! Are you eligible? Information is available on the School Counselor's Site (under the Academics Tab), pick up a brochure in the TMS main office, or visit the College Bound Scholarship Website at www.collegebound.wa.gov.

  • Smarter Balanced (SBAC) Testing

    April 27 through May 8 TMS students will be taking the SBAC Test. During these 2 weeks, encourage your child to do their best, eat a good breakfast, arrive on time and avoid scheduling outside appointments on test days. 7th graders test on Monday and Tuesday; 8th graders will be testing on Wednesday and Thursday of each week.

  • District Transfer Reminders

    If your student attends a Tumwater School District School on an Inter-district or Inter-zone Transfer, it is time to turn your forms in for next year. Pick up a form at the District Office or your school and return it to Tami Collins at the District Office for consideration. Remember you must re-apply each year you attend a non-resident school.   • Regional Solo and Ensemble Festival

    Last weekend Tumwater Middle School Band Students participated in the Regional Solo and Ensemble Festival at Jefferson Middle School. Out of almost 30 entries in multiple categories, half were awarded the highest possible rating of superior! Wonderful work everyone; you represented yourselves and TMS well!

  • Intercity Transit Bike Program

    Thank you Erin and crew for the Walk N Roll Bike Program here at Tumwater Middle School. Students learned bike safety and maintenance and all students completing this 2 day course took home a new bike! There is another class opportunity this summer in Downtown Olympia!   • Emergency Information Forms

    The Health Room is still missing a number of Emergency Information forms. Please remember that there are field trips planned and in order for your child to participate in these trips, there must be a current Emergency form on file. Forms can be downloaded from the Tumwater School District Website, or you can obtain a copy by coming to the TMS Wellness Center.

    Hello TMS Families. Your PTO is working hard on Spring plans. We know some of you weren't able to make it to the planning meeting last month, but you can still participate!   • New Enrollment

    If you are new to Tumwater Middle School you can pick up a Registration Packet in our main office. When registering for school, please have a copy of your child's immunization history and proof of your residency. Your previous school should supply you with a withdrawal form and a copy of your child's health/immunization history. Please ask for these items when you withdraw from school. See you soon!

    Family Access is an easy way to keep track of your students school information! From assignments and attendance to lunch accounts, your pre-assigned log-in and passwords takes you directly into the Family Access & Gradebook program and helps you stay connected. If you have not already started using this great tool, please contact Sally Riddle at 709-7503 for your log-in and password information so you can start using this program today! Talk to your student about their 'Student Access' program. They have the same ability to check on assignments and keep track of due-dates. This feature will be available after school starts this year!

  • Student Fees...We Take Credit Cards!

    You now have the option to pay student fees, fines, or purchase items for sale by using a credit or debit card. We can accept Visa, Master Card, or Discover Cards directly at your school or On-Line! To access the On-Line feature, click on the "Pay Fees/Fines" icon located at the top right of any page on the District Website. The icon looks like a $ sign. Once you have signed in using your Skyward User ID and password, select your student's name to access his or her account. Here you can choose from fines, fees or products for sale.
