Next week begins our annual food drive! Students will pick up a bag to bring non-perishable groceries back to school starting Monday. These bags will go out 6th period on Friday. Last year we collected more food than the Thurston County Food Bank had ever had from TMS. Let’s beat that this year! Also, next Friday will be a Builders Club event where we make dog tugs and a treat. As people pick out food for the humans in their family, TMS students will make sure their dog has a treat as well.
The Kids Closet Clothing Bank is taking donations for the next clothing give-away scheduled for Saturday, November 15th at Michael T. Simmons Elementary School from noon to 3 pm. Bring your new or gently used donations (sizes infant to high school) to TMS and support this amazing program!
Football Gear Handouts will be on Saturday, August 23rd. 8th grade @ 9:00 -11:00 a.m. 7th grade @ 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The first day of practice is August 25th at 3:30 p.m. at TMS. Cross Country first practice day is August 25th at BHHS (practice times to be determined.) Girls Volleyball first day of practice is September 4th from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. here at TMS.
If your student attends a Tumwater School District School on an Inter-district or Inter-zone Transfer, it is time to turn your forms in for next year. Pick up a form at the District Office or your school and return it to Tami Collins at the District Office for consideration. Remember you must re-apply each year you attend a non-resident school. Family Access is an easy way to keep track of your students school information! From assignments and attendance to lunch accounts, your pre-assigned log-in and passwords takes you directly into the Family Access & Gradebook program and helps you stay connected. If you have not already started using this great tool, please contact Sally Riddle at 709-7503 for your log-in and password information so you can start using this program today! Talk to your student about their 'Student Access' program. They have the same ability to check on assignments and keep track of due-dates. This feature will be available after school starts this year!
You now have the option to pay student fees, fines, or purchase items for sale by using a credit or debit card. We can accept Visa, Master Card, or Discover Cards directly at your school or On-Line! To access the On-Line feature, click on the "Pay Fees/Fines" icon located at the top right of any page on the District Website. The icon looks like a $ sign. Once you have signed in using your Skyward User ID and password, select your student's name to access his or her account. Here you can choose from fines, fees or products for sale.
